AAXA Technologies announces the SLC450, a Native 1080P Portable LED Projector based on LCD technology.

AAXA Technologies is excited to release the SLC450 a short throw 450 LED Lumen 1080P Native Resolution mini projector based on Silicon Liquid Crystal technology.  The SLC technology is derived from 3 imager Cinema technology scaled down into a mini projector form factor. The SLC450 is superior to its 1LCD projector cousins with RGB (Red-Green-Blue) LEDs and field-sequential technology that achieves a superior color mix over single white LED projectors.  This same technology allows the implementation of short-throw 100% offset optics which is unavailable in 1LCD projector products.  This advanced optical engine is just a few inches in diameter enabling a true mini projector measuring less than 5” in width and just 1.3” thick – a fraction of the size of the 1LCD projectors. The SLC450 also eliminates the multiple chipsets required for pixel-shifting technology found in many of its DLP projector cousins – thus reducing cost.  The SLC450 is just slightly more expensive than its cheaper 1LCD cousins yet delivers substantially more value.  The SLC450 incorporates a true native 1920 x 1080 pixel imager – avoiding pixel shifting to achieve higher resolutions in small form factors.

Super Small, Super Bright

The SLC450 easily fits in a pocket or handbag measuring at just 4” x 5” x 1.3” but with projection brightness more than 2-5x typical single LCD projectors.

RGB LED For Vibrant Colors, Deeper Blacks

The SLC450 employs Triple Red-Green-Blue LEDs delivering true color images with deeper blacks.  The color quality is substantially better than white-LED (1LCD) projectors.

Short Throw and 100% Offset Optics

The SLC450’s unique optical design features 0.7 TR Short-throw optics and a 100% offset image.  This optical design enables versatile projector positioning and is unavailable in 1LCD projectors (due to optics size).

Energy Efficient means True Portability

The SLC450 operates at just 30 watts – about 4x more efficient than typical white-LED projectors.  It is energy efficient enough to be operated by car power adapters (12V 4A) and other battery sources making the SLC450 a true outdoor projector.

Onboard 2.4g / 5g Wireless and BT5.0

The SLC450 features onboard 2.4g / 5g wireless connections including wireless screen mirroring for Android and IOS devices and a WIFI connection.  It also features Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility to connect external speakers and sound devices.

Feature Rich, Small Form Factor

Additional features include HDMI input, Micro SD Card / USB reader, headphone output, and 12V power supply that is compatible with multiple car and battery power sources.

Onboard Keystone, Image Rotation, 100% offset for versatile installation

The SLC450 features onboard 4 way keystone and image rotation.  With Short throw optics and a 100% offset the SLC450 allows for a variety of unique mounting positions unavailable for most projectors in its class.
